Group Therapy & Psychoeducation
Community Connection Is Closer Than You Think
I believe that building strong community is essential to an increased sense of belonging and self-worth. Through honest, open discussion, I boldly address topics that are often scary to people. I challenge people to walk with me to a place of better understanding, empathy, and connection.
I offer closed groups for intimate, interpersonal healing journeys, open groups for more psychoeducational experiences and workshops for deepened, clinical skill building.
Closed Groups
Smaller group size addressing such topics as traumas, suicide ideation/suicide attempt survivors, death, depression and low self-esteem. Designed to help people get real, be honest and process in a safe environment.
Open Groups
Medium group size addressing such topics as the “power of words”, “personal responsibility”, “understanding the power of emotions”. They are designed to be a series so it is helpful to start on day one and continue but any group attended will offer insight and helpful information.
Workshops
Varied group sizes addressing any topic requested. May be offered solely by Looking In Looking Out or within a conference or training. Example topics “The 211 on Depression”, “Relapse Prevention” and “Embracing True Self”..
